The EDM47K-MP Drill is a versatile multi-purpose drill designed to be simple to operate and easy to maintain in the field. The rig uses many characteristics from a wide range of drills, all configured conveniently on a single standalone machine enabling multiple drilling methods to be carried out with the same rig.
The rig features 47,000lbs of pullback capacity and can be crawler mounted, truck mounted or supplied ready to fit on a customer’s own vehicle. The EDM47K-MP offers unmatched customisation with multiple options available for all major components on board the rig. It can be supplied fully equipped with a compressor onboard, or as a smaller and lighter, nimbler machine without a compressor and ready to work with an independent air package. This option allows for maximum manoeuvrability on site and ease of transportation.
The EDM47K-MP drill includes all the required components and features to carry out highly productive and safe drilling; including a high performance multipurpose top drive rotation head, hands-free dual rod breakers, cyclone and splitter, rod spinner and rod spin guard, wireline auto spooler, WLO – winch limiter for both main and wireline winches and the standard EDM RC Rod Handler for hands-free handling of RC pipe up to 5.5”, 6m long and 200kg capacity.
